Bali photographed on analog in 2010

About 10 years ago during one of my trips to Bali with my mom and uncle, I took beautiful photographs of this land using film, the old school way…🎞📸🎞

There are sheaves of rice resting on each other, paddies themselves, the great mount Agung, traditionally dressed Balinese women, freshly gather bananas and more.

Photogrpahy was the first medium that entered my art practice. I took my first photographs attending a course in Lawrence, Kansas, USA at an art centre in 2002. Here is where I developed my first black and white prints. I then focused on studio portraits during my Foundation year @csm_news, continued during my BA and even chose a media degree for my MA @goldsmithsart.

The collection of photographs I hold in my stead: analog, medium format, digital… Taking my camera into English country side, Vodoo Festival in West Africa, good old Russia, documenting peaceful activist gatherings in Poland, my passion for photography no philosophy book be it Sontag or Barthes has been left unturned. I even wrote a poem on Camera Lucida as my final essay and always included Photogrpahy in exhibitions I curated.
